This May, the Fundació BCN Formació Professional has launched a new call for financial support aimed at vocational education and training (VET) centres in Barcelona and its metropolitan area interested in implementing or consolidating a simulated company using the SEFED methodology (Simulated Companies for Educational Purposes).
The Simulated Company project of the Fundació BCN Formació Professional and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area is an innovation project that seeks to complement education with fully practical knowledge and strengthen the transversal skills of VET students, with the aim of facilitating their future integration into the labour market.
The SEFED methodology recreates the operation of a company within the educational centre, offering students a training experience based on the simulation of real administrative and commercial processes, connected to a national and international network of simulated companies.
The call is addressed to all VET centres in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, 22 June 2026, and applications must be submitted through this FORM.
