The BCN VET Foundation seeks to:

YOUTH GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR (TÈCNIC/A D’ORIENTACIÓ JUVENIL)

Functions: The technician will join the staff structure of the BCN VET Foundation (www.fundaciobcnfp.cat), under the supervision of the European Projects and International Relations Area, and will report directly to the International Coordination Unit. Their functions will be part of the projects promoted by the Foundation:

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance, counselling, information, and support to young participants in the project toward labour market integration or returning to the education system, through individual and group mentoring sessions.
  • Delivering non-formal education workshops aimed at developing basic skills.
  • Supporting the organisation and implementation of project-related activities.
  • Recording activities in the Galileu application.
  • Supporting the administrative management of the project.
  • Coordinating with the rest of the project’s technical and administrative team.


Requirements:

  • The counsellor must hold an official university degree (or equivalent) in Psychology, Pedagogy, or Psychopedagogy, or a postgraduate qualification in Career Guidance.
  • In the case of other university degrees or higher vocational qualifications, at least 2 years of experience within the last 5 years in career guidance must be accredited.
  • Experience in administrative management.
  • Experience/knowledge in non-formal education and group facilitation.
  • Level C in Catalan and B2 level in English.
  • Upper-intermediate to advanced IT skills.


It will be valued:

  • Knowledge of German and/or Danish.
  • Experience in SOC projects and/or international mobility projects.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Experience with the Galileu application.

Other:

  • Availability to travel according to project needs. Start date: March 2026.


Working hours:

Full-time temporary contract until 31/12/2026; 37.5 hours per week; flexible schedule.

Salary:
€32,064 gross per year.
