ALMA participants are entering the final stretch of their preparation phase after months of work and learning. Throughout this period, they have explored city resources and services, reflected on their personal and professional futures, and developed key skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and autonomy through various dynamics and team-building games.
They have also taken part in practical daily-life activities, including cooking and nutrition workshops in real-world settings, sessions on money management and personal organization, and a meeting with alumni from the previous edition, who shared their mobility experiences. With this preparation, the participants are now on the verge of their mobility abroad, where they will put into practice everything they have worked on over the past few months.
The ALMA program, coordinated in Catalonia by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC), aims to empower young people and facilitate their integration into the labor market, the education system, and society. To achieve this, it provides a tailored pathway combining a preparatory phase, a professional internship experience in another European Union country, and follow-up guidance once the mobility period concludes.
