On Tuesday, 15 September, at 12:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation, as a member of the honorary committee, took part in the voting meeting for the applications submitted for the 2026 DonaTIC Awards.
The objectives of the DonaTIC Awards are to:
· Recognise the role of women in the professional, business and academic fields of information and communication technologies (ICT).
· Highlight role models in society to promote interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
· Promote female participation in technology-related degrees and engineering.
The Awards are divided into eight categories and two subcategories, one of which is intended for a female student pursuing ICT vocational training (VET).
The 12th edition of the DonaTIC Awards ceremony will take place on 19 October 2026. The winners in the different categories will be announced, along with the special mentions for Digital Culture, Cybersecurity and Aerospace.
