From January 14 to 16, 2025, the Romanian city of Constanța hosted the second transnational meeting of the ElectricCarsVetHub project, a cooperation initiative in education and vocational training (KA220-VET) supported by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE).

The aim of this project is to develop training content to address the challenges of electric vehicles, a constantly evolving sector that is key to sustainable mobility. This meeting brought together representatives from different European organizations to work on project management, planning future activities, and creating educational materials.

It began with a welcome and registration of attendees, followed by the presentation of the day’s agenda. The work focused on the different work packages:

  • WP1. Project Management: Monitoring of activities, time planning, budget, quality plan, and dissemination plan.
  • WP2. Mapping: Analysis of objectives and results of previous activities, including focus groups, infographics, and staff training activities in Tartu and Constanța.
  • WP3. Forecasting: Proposal for a benchmarking study to analyze the future needs of the sector.
  • WP4. Content development and testing: Creation of a pilot module and planning of tests in Rovaniemi and Treviso.

The day ended with a joint dinner to encourage networking among participants.

This meeting has enabled progress to be made in the development of training materials for the electric vehicle sector and laid the foundations for future pilot tests. The next meetings will take place in Rovaniemi and Treviso, where the materials developed will be tested.

With this initiative, ElectricCarsVetHub is contributing to the transition towards more sustainable mobility by training qualified professionals to meet the challenges of the future.
