The semiconductor industry is immersed in a context of strategic commitment to the territory. Despite its small size, it is experiencing an upward trajectory and has significant growth expectations. However, it is necessary to address existing training inequality, especially in those professional roles of a technical nature. In this sense, the present study aims to identify the fit of the vocational training system to contribute to the improvement of qualifications in the sector, based on the identification of the contributions of the local productive fabric.
