As part of the 15th anniversary of the Innovation Measures Plan in Vocational Education and Training, the Fundació BCN Formació Professional is promoting this year three institutional visits to centres participating in the programme, in collaboration with the Diputació de Barcelona, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and Barcelona City Council.

The visits will make it possible to learn first-hand about educational innovation projects developed in VET centres in the Barcelona area, as well as to showcase the work carried out by the students and teachers involved.

The selected centres and projects are:

  • Institut Jaume Mimó (Cerdanyola del Vallès), with the project Fira Mimó ECOsocial, a collaborative initiative that connects VET with companies and local stakeholders.
  • Institut de Terrassa, with the project Gaudí Maker Lab, which integrates creativity, sustainability and digital manufacturing in the textile field and concludes with a final fashion show.
  • Institut dels Aliments de Barcelona and Institut FP Sanitària Vall d’Hebron, with the inter-school project L’hort curatiu, which combines health, nutrition and sustainability through an educational garden.

These visits will include institutional representation and will also provide an opportunity to gather testimonies and experiences from the participating centres, coinciding with the commemoration of the Plan’s 15th anniversary.
