We traveled to IFEMA Madrid to actively participate in REBUILD 2026, the benchmark event for the industrialization, digitalization, and sustainability of the building sector.
From the BCN Vocational Training Foundation, on March 26 at 1:00 PM in the Saint-Gobain Theatre room, we moderated a key session for the future of the sector: “New training proposals”, featuring 13 speakers from leading institutions such as Escola del Treball de Barcelona, Institut Castellet, Institut Torre Vicens de Lleida, IES Vasco de la Zarza (Ávila), and the Integrated Construction VET Center of Bizkaia, among others.
The aim was to share, through dynamic elevator pitch-style presentations, some innovative projects from VET centers and to showcase how education in the construction field is being transformed through Virtual and Augmented Reality and BIM models.
In addition, this event becomes every year a meeting point for Building VET centers from across the country and a space for recognizing students through the ANDECE Awards, which this year honored students from Institut Provençana (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat) and Institut Torre Vicens de Lleida.
We continue to promote Vocational Education and Training to lead the technological transformation in the building and Construction 4.0 sector.
